Invest several hours into this course over a week or 2 and you can absolutely do this.
You’ll need decent internet connection along with a cell phone or webcam that can capture video. If you can Facetime, Skype, or any other app that allows you to do video conferencing, you got this.
You’ll need to have a laser. If you don’t have a laser, there is a possibility for us to get a laser into your hands to try. We have a 95% success rate of our students who have asked to have a trial laser shipped to them.
You’ll need to order a typodont (online) or pigjaw (from your local meat shop) for the hands-on training and evaluation. You’ll need laser glasses too. But DON’T WORRY! We have step-by-step instructions to ensure you get the materials you need to be successful with the hands-on training.
Absolutely. We’re not into sparing you from any intense overwhelm. We know that some people like to binge-learn and hammer out training with laser-focus. That said, you can still access the content in a pace that suits you and your learning style.
Full course content is yours for 1 full year. After that, you will have options to continue to have access to the content and any new and additional content we add to this course.
“The online portion is easy to navigate and the hands-on portion is easy to schedule. I appreciate having multiple lasers to try-out. Liked the instructional videos showing dentists performing certain procedures, like frenectomy.”
“My favorite part of the program was the hands-on part. Joy provided very detailed instructions on how to set up the video conference so that she could have the best view of my technique. I felt like she was sitting right next to me. I also enjoyed having another trainee from Montana in the course with me. It gave me an opportunity to observe and learn without moving out of my seat. In a classroom setting, I would have to stand over someone else’s shoulders, which may or may not go over well. I was able to take my time and not feel rushed throughout the process.”
“Think about how your time is valuable. I’d much rather spend a few evenings or early mornings rather than sit in a longer class. I absorb the information better than a lumped-together class and could go back to re-watch videos that I needed to. I love that I have access to the class for a year so I can go back and pick up anything that I don’t feel comfortable with. Having access to how to use multiple brands of lasers is helpful too.”
