We will start promptly. PLEASE ARRIVE 15-minutes early to sign-in and grab breakfast. (The first part of the lecture is laser physics that you will be tested on and need to know according to the state boards)
Lunch provided. We typically provide salads and sandwiches with a vegetarian option. Plan on bringing your own dietary meal if you have restrictions. There is no time to leave for lunch.
This guide is copyrighted and CANNOT be shared with anyone who has not paid for our course!
We recommend you review this information before class and come prepared for a fabulous day of learning.
If you paid for our beautifully bound color-printed copy, you will get this the day of the course
We will be working on typodonts, hotdogs and some courses pig jaws (you are not required to work on pig jaws). Business dress attire or street clothes are very acceptable. We will have gloves and masks for you to use.
We will have plenty of demo units for you to practice with at the course. If you prefer to bring your laser, please bring all parts, tips, pedals, cords. You must know how to set up your laser and practice doing this prior to the class. If your laser is not working, we cannot do maintenance or troubleshooting during class.
IMPORTANT- If you need magnification to see an instrument on a tooth—you need magnification for this course so you can see the laser fiber on gum tissue. You will be tested on laser techniques for the hands-on section, so you need to see what you are doing! If you have good eyesight and do not need magnification at your job—disregard this section!
If you own loupes, bring them with you. If you use a headlamp light, bring that too. If you need magnification at work-bring the glasses you use to see your patients teeth.
We have laser safety glasses for all attendees to use for the course.
