I absolutely loved Janessa Bock! My all day course was April 29th, 2022. Loads of hand on training. My favorite part... was the photobiomodulation section with the latest Gemini laser and it’s attachment. I mean you feel instant relief! I highly recommend the online Diode Laser Certification course offered by Advanced Dental Hygiene. I chose the 8 hour... online course with virtual hands-on training and found it to be a wealth of information and training! I loved the self-paced models which you can replay as many times as needed. In addition, you have an entire year to review. Joy was supportive and helpful throughout the course and beyond; her passion and knowledge of laser dentistry is inspirational! AMAZING! I just completed the online diode laser certification and let me tell you it was fabulous. I was originally... signed up to go to Nashville, Tn two Fridays ago, but unfortunately with COVID-19 travel restriction protocols my work had implemented, I had to pivot and switch to online. I was kind of bummed at first, but after I got started with reviewing the materials online and the excellent videos, I'm glad I had this oppurtunity. I liked that I could watch in my pj's and could go at whatever pace I felt comfortable with and if I needed to rewatch something, it was doable. I printed out the outline to follow along and make notes which was clutch. Joy was able to get me in contact with the ultradent rep in my area, Tanvi, and we were able to meet up so I could borrow a gemini diode laser 😍. I was able to secure pig jaws to test out on. Joy and I did the live hands on portion via zoom this morning and it was great! She was able to watch my technique and give me pointers to effectively use the laser. She was able to answer all the questions I had in regards to billing and ideas to help incorporate into private practice. I would highly recommend the online diode certification, especially if travel is a concern or challenging for you.read more

I took the online Live 12 hour CE course that is required in Texas. I am grateful that this course was offered online,... because due to COVID, it was more convenient for me to do at home. 8 hours and 4 hours hands on. It was very informative. You learn about your specific laser, settings, procedures you can do, how to treatment plan, how to explain to patients the usage and how to apply it to a patient’s Perio case. She breaks it down by state. Since I practice in Texas she informed us on the rules and regulations in regards to the laser in making sure we are legally protected and performing what is allow here. The day went very quickly. I honestly didn’t even know what time it was my attention was so focused on all the great information given. She caters to all learning styles. She keeps your attention and makes it a fun day. I look forward to adding laser to my patient care. I researched other companies to be certified by and what stuck out to me is how on top of things Joy is. When I inquired about her course she quickly responded to my email. Other companies took a few days. She is aware of all states rules and regulations. Her course certifies you in all states that allow you to use a laser. With her course she offers an online portal with all the course info, laser info, etc to refer back to for a year! I am so grateful I was able to get my certification through Joy. She’s passionate about what she does.read more
