I’m so excited. I have a brand new laser. I have not been able to see this in person, so I thought we would do an unboxing together and we can check out this new laser by UltraDent.
Here we go. I have used their other Gemini Evo lasers. Those are wonderful. Let’s see what this this new one is all about.
Oh my goodness. Check this out. Even the packaging is super nice.
Okay, let’s very nice hardboard here. Ooh, look at this presentation.
First time I am seeing this live. Ooh, a quick start guide. So, this looks like just how to get it started right away.
The different components that are in there, disposable barrier sleeves.
We definitely need this outside the operatory being used.
And well, let’s get out the laser and check this out. Okay, so this is the unit that’ll sit on your countertop.
And I’m thinking that this is the beautiful laser. Wow.
So, guess what? Looks like this is going to be a pen laser.
Heck yes. You all know how much I love pens. So, this is the pen unit.
So, you can take off all of the cladding. We’re going to put that right here, the holder for now.
And what I’m thinking here is let’s open these up. Well, hey, one just fell off.
These are the two batteries. So, what we’re going to do, snap that in right here. And this is where, woo, we put the tip. Guess what?
It’s fully charged and ready to go. I don’t have my glasses on yet, so I’m going to put that away for now.
Let’s see what else it has. Ooh, a same foot pedal.
Okay, looks like batteries. Batteries are right here. You just put the batteries in. And your foot pedal is ready to go.
Let’s see what else we have. The power supply. It’s even labeled correctly so that we can charge it up.
But hey, there’s two batteries. So, I’m thinking charge it maybe at lunch at the end of the day because you have two separate batteries.
Okay. So, we’re going to put the power supply.
Oh, what is this here? Oh, and pre-initiated tips. So, they actually give you some tips in the unboxing.
Here we go. And we love a little bendy tool. I love these new ones. It can actually There’s no cord. We don’t even have to attach this to a cord. How great is that? And we have two safety glasses, and they are specific to this laser. So, we’ll want to make sure we put those on.
And this looks like a battery. I am wondering.
Oh, look at this right here. So, here we go.
And this is what we would be charging.
Oh, I think I haven’t taken off all of the plastics here.
We’ll look at how this attaches when I read the guide. Here we go. Oh goodness, look at this. This is our PBM tips photobiomodulation.
So, this laser is going to be able to do PBM. I actually don’t know of a pen laser on the market that does PBM. So, we have the regular 7 mm tip. So, we take that off in order to laser.
We have same tips here. Look at this. The 3mm tip. Oh, and here we go. Here’s the big dog.
This is the 25 mm tip right here. Oh, actually right here.
And then we have singleuse tips on the back that you actually are going to stick right into the laser.
So, we’ll be unboxing that as well and some sleeves.
And that is everything that comes with the laser. So, the next video will show how do we put all of this together and start using it on our patients. This is everything that comes
in your laser unit. You have two safety glasses. We have a power supply to charge the laser. You have your foot
pedal. It even gives you your first set of batteries. You have five pre-initiated tips. You have three photobiomodulation tips, a seven, a three, and the larger unit. And then we have the laser. You have two batteries.
You have the pen itself. And we have the countertop unit. Now, we also need to put the battery into the countertop unit. So, what we want to do is line this up and press that and it even starts booting up for us. Now, stay tuned.
